I guess because this was a Warriors-Timberwolves game nobody noticed, but it seems clear from this photographic evidence that they were not playing with a regulation-sized ball. Or, that is, what we thought was a regulation-sized ball.
I don't know what to make of this, frankly. David Stern usually has his head on straight, but you would have thought that he'd have learned a couple years ago not to mess with the rock. Still, the more I think about it, the more I figure these giant balls will add an interesting new dimension to the game.
