For reasons I can't possibly explain, Barry Bonds hooked up with the, um... fine people at Christensen Arms-- makers of world renowned carbon-barrelled rifles-- to go on a hunting trip somewhere in Northern Alberta. And they filmed it. And they started off the clip with an awesomely-edited montage of pictures of Bonds, bucks, and some sweet, sweet guns.
Now... say what you will about hunting, you've got to give full credit to anybody who is actually willing to get within a hundred feet of an armed Barry freaking Bonds. I've read Game of Shadows, and that takes some serious balls. And hey, a nice touch for us Canadians is the inclusion of Bonds talking about playing "cup baseball" with Sandy and Robbie Alomar when their dads played together on the 1975 New York Yankees. (He says '74, but trust me, he means '75).
This video is only the first half of the hunt, and apparently you have to go to the Christensen Arms site to see the conclusion. I wouldn't know, because there's only so much of Barry Bonds sitting in a shack and whispering to a camera that I can take. . .
