Friday Afternoon Nap - December 12th
costanzanapping

It's Friday again already? What the hell? The weekend is soon approaching... only a couple more hours to go.

So now, you've got to figure out a way to kill off the next couple of hours. You just ate a big meal, and now things are getting awfully drowsy. Maybe it was your office's Christmas Holiday party last night, and perhaps you left there and then kept on drinking for several more hours. Perhaps you felt like garbage this morning. Perhaps it hasn't got much better.

Five o'clock is coming like a freight train, but first you've got to get through these next couple of excruciating hours. . .

Don't worry... this will help. . .

+ The global economic crisis seems to be turning Eastern European brothels into... golf shops? [Golf Girl's Diary]

+ It's finally time. You can finally wear your ugliest Christmas sweaters with pride. [Lemondrop]

+ If you've ever wondered what a bear would eat if he went to McDonalds, apparently the Japanese have your answer. [Holy Taco]

+ Classic hip-hop album covers re-created in Lego are... actually not all that good. [Format]

+ Steve Nash is not taking the departure of his best friend, Raja Bell, very well. [AP]

+ They looks so cuddly. Yet... so wrong. Yet, I really want one. But... again... so wrong. [Livejournal]

+ Meet the Baby Backs-- ice girls for the Iowa Chops (yes, as in pork chops). [Bob's Blitz]

+ Mets fans don't really care for Cole Hamels calling their team "choke artists"-- but maybe he was just talking what happened the time he got them to suck on his World Series ring. The comments section is particularly fantastic. [MetsBlog]

+ A chat with the two pitchers from India who were signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates after appearing on a reality show, "Million Dollar Arm". [Walkoff Walk]

+ Dinesh Patel-- one of the two aforementioned pitchers-- is blogging about his experiences. [The Million Dollar Arm]

+ Steve Young breaks down the souvenir cup incident. [Deadspin]

+ Jizz In My Pants is a funny song that's about exactly what it says it's about. [YouTube]

+ LATE ADDITION! Michael Phelps' one-man show, "Boooook!" [Best Week Ever]

+ Pretty much the greatest midi file of all time (tough it out-- worth it!). [Best Week Ever]

And Now Let's Go to the Videotape. . .

+ Apparently these girls are saying something stupid, but for some reason, I can't quite manage to pay attention to their words.

+ This makes me kind of wish I hated school enough or got in enough shit to ever want to throw down with a teacher, just so I could say something like, "Damn! I wish I'd have thought of that when I was his age!"

+ Some of you may recognize this ad for a game called Ball Buster from the sample on U.N.K.L.E.'s Psyence Fiction. Well, here's the video...

+ Soccer really does have the best commercials, doesn't it?

Holy Hannah, that jizz song is gold, Jerry, gold! I especially appreciate how the two dudes  kind of remind of me of Brit-pop golden boys, Bros.
