Do you see what I did with the title there? See, now that's clever. Almost. But what I think we can all probably agree is not particularly clever is what Tampa Bay Bucaneers defensive end Greg White did on Monday. Or more correctly... what Tampa Bay Bucaneers defensive end Stylez G. White did on Monday.
That's right. White had his name legally changed to Stylez-- which, though he changed the spelling slightly, is seriously a reference to Michael J. Fox's best friend in Teen Wolf.
I will grant you, if you're going to name yourself after a character in Teen Wolf, it had damn well better be Stiles, but still... still... the whole thing is just a little bit... oh, I don't know... retarded. But somehow, also kind of a little bit really awesome.
First aside: According to IMDB, the guy who played Stiles has actually directed a bunch of episodes of the best show on TV-- It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia-- which pretty much makes him fourteen times more awesome than the already awesome level of awesome he had achieved simply by playing Stiles.
Second aside: FYI, an excellent Teen Wolf drinking game-- pretty much goes for any MJF movie-- is to do a shot of hard liquor any time Fox ends a scene by looking longingly into the camera while backing up, and then does a bit of a dainty turn on his heels as he walks away. Extra drink if he's got a jacket slung over his shoulder when he does this.
