Morning Link Dump - Ana, Winter Classic, Michael Irvin, Dolph Lundgren

ana Obligatory Sports Babe

Ana Ivanovic said something slightly humorous (not really) the other day, according to this post from Fanhouse, and quite frankly, that's pretty much all I need as far as excuses for posting pictures of Ana Ivanovic go.

Winter Classic Stick Finds Its Way Home

I'm sure you've heard about the kid who was given Henrik Zetterberg's game stick from Winter Classic as the Red Wings star came off the ice on New Year's Day, only to have it promptly stolen by some douche. According to the Chicago Tribune (via Puck Daddy), it turns out that the douche sold his stick in the bathroom at Wrigley-- fortunately not in a Jim Carroll-Yankee Stadium kind of way-- to a dentist from North Carolina who has since returned it.

New Candidate For Worst Father In the World

According to MSNBC (via Salty Milk) a California man went to police after he didn't receive the $16,000, 100 cases of beer and "several" cases of meat that he had agreed to sell his fourteen-year-old daughter in exchange for.

Craigslist Awesomeness

Tirico Suave has dug up what is perhaps the greatest Craigslist post ever (this week). Or, at least, it's great if you're the kind of person who wants free Hammer pants with your used 2005 Nissan Xterra TSE (Tom Selleck Edition).

Q: What's the Best Way Not To Get Carjacked In Dallas?

A: Be Michael Irvin. According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth (via With Leather) the Cowboys great was driving on Monday night when a truck followed him up to a stoplight. The passenger pulled out a gun and pointed it at him before quickly putting it away and shouting, "Hey, Mike Irvin, what's up? Mike Irving [sic?], man, we are big Cowboy fans." The would-be carjackers left after several minutes.

Dolph Lundgren Continues to be Awesome
