It was reported in the New York Post today that a panel of MLB statisticians, among them John Dewan and Bill James, have voted on the 2008 edition of the Fielding Bible Awards , and when the votes were tallied, they had ranked Yankee legend Derek Jeter "22nd among all major-league shortstops, with one calling Jeter 'the least effective defensive player in the major leagues, at any position.'
