Obviously I can't cheer against Canada, but this tournament is pretty meaningless. There's not enough competion to make it exciting, it's like women's hockey only 2 teams can win the rest are there to make numbers. Until other countries get more competive, winning this tournament is like winning $5 in the lottery.

I'm in the same boat as you Mr. Stoeten...I kind of wanted to see Canada lose. This tournament would be a lot better if it was only the top 6 teams playing instead of wasting time playing shit teams like Germany or Kazakhstan...Games that mean something from start to finish throughout the whole tournament.

I also think the TSN might have to look into Pierre McGuire's man-boner for these little boys and tell him to settle down a bit. He's giving a lot of people the creeps...3 years ago it was Carter, last year it was Toews, this year it was obviously Taveres and his "off ice regimen"...I can just picture Pierre peering around the corner at the practice facility watching Tavares working out...soooo creepy.

Hey man i agree with ya 100% the world jr championship is a bunch of shit that shouldnt get half the attention it gets now. I have been cheering for canada the whole way. Im a proud canadian but im sick and tired of hearing how we are the ones who try the hardest and want it more and all this shit. Plus i hate Pierre McGuire anyways hes the biggest douchebag thats ever walked. i love this blog

Instead of having it go from first to third they should have ran it down one of the baselines. I mean if they put it down the 3rd base line and then built those grand stands that they make for Champcar/F1 races then they could have everyone sitting close...ahh well. Happy Festivus.
