  • Ruutu gets two; Sens add Stanley Cup winner to roster

    Jarko Ruutu was handed a two game suspension by the NHL for his hit on Maxipad Lapierre. Carbonneau babbled off the standard dribble.... "it was a dirty hit"... "he has a reputation".. blah blah blah. I couldn't tell if he was talking about Lapierre or Ruutu, or was he referring to Kotsopoulos? Every team has one or two guys like that, it's just that Jarko happens to be better at it than most. All joking aside, it was an elbow to the head and I think 2 games is fair even...
