    The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that rookie Luke Schenn will be staying with the big club. In my opinion, Schenn has been the best defenceman on the team so far this season. This is not an insult to veterans Tomas Kaberle and Pavel Kubina , but rather a compliment to the 18-year old rookie. Schenn has been playing a ton of hockey.     What to do with the Leafs' defence corps? 10 guys and only 7 spots. Here are my two cents: Kaberle and Kubina are clearly the top 2. After that, everything else is up in the air. There are 8 guys (Schenn, Colaiacovo, Finger, Frogren, Stralman, Van Ryn, White, Kronwall) vying for the remaining 4 spots in the lineup, and 1 additional spot as the 7th defenceman.
