The MMA Show Question of the week:

With a bunch of fights going to the judges last weekend in Germany we want to know your thoughts on how the judges did. Do you find the judging to be of an acceptable quality? Did you agree with the decisions at UFC 99?

Let us know here or at themmashow@thescore.com

This week we’re featuring Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida, as well as recapping all the action from UFC 99.

As always, thanks for watching!

Im going to go against the grain here and say that the judging is fine the way it is. When the fighters enter the octogon they know to never leave the fight in the judges hands. In the Silva vs Franklin fight it went the way it should have went. Rich won that fight. Silva is an overrated fighter who is past his time. He did great in Pride but in the UFC he is very unsuccessful. RIght now he is sporting a 2-5 record in the ufc. With wins over Tony Peterra and Keith Jardine the "Axe Murderer" should not even be in MMA talks.

When it comes to the judging as stated before it is fine the way it is, but there could always be room for improvment. Some new criteria does need to be put into place such as the finishing ability from the fighter.

A great example of bad judging was the Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin fight. Ortiz won with a Split Decision. IMO Forrest should have won that fight, but thats the way it sometimes comes with judging.

There are faults in all MMA systems as well not only judging. When i fighter goes down and cause he got poked in the eye. That will count as a knockout for the "poke-er". If the ref cant see it.

So judging wise, i think it is just fine but it could have some tweeks placed into it to make the bout more interesting. If we placed Fighter trying to end the fight via knockout/submission i think you will see a lot more attempts to end the fight
