MMA Show question of the week:

Hey there MMA fans. This week we want your opinion on what is going to be the better heavyweight matchup this summer – Fedor vs Barnett or Lesnar vs Mir?

Let us know what you think, we’ll take a response or two and use them in the show.

Fedor and Barnett, combined 60 matches, Barnett has been KO'd one time and his other losses are only vs Crocop who seemingly had his number.

Combined 20 matches...will it be a repeat? Does Lesnar have the BJJ to stop Mir if gets caught this time? Can Mir weather the bull rush attack and fury that Lesnar will no doubt bring right out of the gate.

We will be given a gourmet meal of MMA from Fedor/Barnett it could turn out to be one of the most technical fights of our time, if Fedor doesn't hit his head on the mat and open up a chasm randomly it should be excellent!

Mir/Lesnar will be a 1 round BBQ, the heat will get turned up way hot too early, someone may get burnt badly. If that doesn't happen it will then be turned off,  the smoke will clear, and we will have to wait 20 minutes for one of them to be well done...

We get an A+ vs A- fight here, I don't think we have any right to complain about either match up, both should be entertaining.

Let's face it :  Mir/Lesnar is nothing more than a fight designed to put a belt on Lesnar, but I'm pretty sure with his BJJ advantage, Mir can win by exposing Brock Lesnar's novice BJJ skills.  Striking and staying on the feet, I'm going to have to give the fight to Lesnar. But this fight might be bull in a china shop type event and will be boring if it doesn't end after the first round.

In contrast, Barnett and Fedor will defenitely deliver on a technical standpoint.  They both have good standup, and it will be interesting to see what if anything Barnett learned in Arlovski's crushing loss to Fedor.  I think Fedor is the best HW in MMA ever, but he got pushed to his edge against Arlovski before Arlovski got overzealous and went for a flying knee.  Don't think Barnett will be as cocky, but I do think he's gonna have to use his size advantage and take Fedor to the ground if he's gonna win.  But that task is easier said than done.

In a nutshell, I will be ordering Fedor vs Barnett and may order Lesnar vs Mir on PPV, but i'd probably end up watching it from a bar anyway.

barnett and fedor, maybe up there. but most of us fans know that someone, something is gonna make lesnar n mirs match top notch.

so i choose lesnar n mir round 2 match up

Fedor vs Barnett doesn't have the same big show appeal of Lesanr/Mir 2. Lesnar is always exciting but I think Mir wants this more. He looked great against Noguiera and I think he will surprise Lesnar. It's going to be a fast paced fight and one of the best on the card.

meh i would rather watch brock get his mouth up when the mir cat breaks his arm off cause brock is over confident and gets trapped.....i love fedor and barnett but i really dont see fedor losing...to anyone..ever...unless robzor is right and he somehow cuts himself open...but i think brock and mir will be awesome as long as mir doesnt think he can stand up with brock the way he did with noguera..the big mans hands are just to dangerous

I think Brock is what will unfortunately turn ufc into a wwe type side show(sports entertainment) and lets be honest publicity sells better than competition unfortunately.Oh yeah Fedor, that's all.
